It exists at the intersection of multiple discourses (e.g., occupational, reproductive, technoscientific, feminist, leisure, sport, and sexual).

Working from a sociological perspective, Sociology of the Body: A Reader provides students with a broad overview of the theories of the body and substantive body issues. Bringing together both classical and contemporary readings, this introductory text/reader integrates content that is international and interdisciplinary.

It exists at the intersection of multiple discourses (e.g., occupational, reproductive, technoscientific, feminist, leisure, sport, and sexual).
